Tato: How old are you?
Libbie: Seven
T: What is your favorite place in whole universe?
L: Sky Zone because you can jump into the sky! It's a trampoline park.
T: Are you sure that Sky Zone is a cooler place than the undiscovered moons of Saturn, which may have even less gravity than a trampoline park?
L: Well, you can go to Sky Zone and jump on a trampoline so high that you can see the lost moons of Saturn!
T: That's a really good point. Well, what's your favorite time every year and why?
L: 8:35, because 35 plus 35 is 70, and I'm seven and I love the number zero.
T: I love the number zero too. Why do you like it?
L: Because if there wasn't zero, you would only count 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..number after 9..11..and so on!
T: Yeah, it sure would mix things up not to have a zero. Is there any other reason you like 8:35?
L: Oh yeah, because 8 - 3 = 5 and 8 is also my favorite number. And I want to go to sleep at 8:35.
T: What's your favorite day every year and why?
L: March 1 because it is my birthday!
T: What are the names of some of your friends?
L: Lilah, Jasmine, Isaiah, Kate, Beelen (Matthew's sister)
T: What were the names of your first-grade teachers?
L: Señora Coll-Pons y Señora Riviera
T: What are some fond or clear memories from first-grade?
L: When the basketball went on the roof! Oliver kicked all the soccer balls on top of the roof. The next day a different Spanish class next door got a different soccer ball. Also the last day of school. There was a party with a bounce house and games like bubblegum tag. Also when I was riding to school in Kindergarten, I was riding without my hands on my bike, and I fell and my finger was cut and we were right next to Stella's house, and she was still there luckily. She gave me a band-aid. The next day my finger bubbled.

L: Matilda, Hugo, Wonderstruck, Jack and Annie or the Magic Tree House, and Percy Jackson.
T: What are some of your favorite songs--in general and on the violin?
L: Sunshine, Dynamite, Firework, Once there was a Crocodile (that's a violin song), Allegro (that's also a violin), Skyler Sisters, and Take a Break.
T: What are some of your favorite art projects to work on?
L: An Indian hat at my school and fixing my Lego monkey whose face fell off (well, I ripped it off! What? The head popped off, and then I just ripped off the head all the way).
T: What are some of your favorite activities?
L: Climbing mountains such as the Y, playing with cousins such as Evie, Addie, Tope, Gabey, and Buster (who is a doggie), watching movies such as Korra and American Ninja, playing with toys such as legos, riding my bike, and climbing monkey bars.
T: Cool. What is a prime number and how many can you name?
L: A prime number is a number that you can only divide by one and itself. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13?, and 71... I just skipped a thousand!
T: That's awesome. Do you think prime numbers are cool and why or why not?
L: Yes, they are cool! I don't know why. They are cool because they are prime numbers.
T: I agree with tautology. Will you tell me a story we have never heard before?
L: Once there was a butterfly and that butterfly flew to a honeycomb, and in that honeycomb there were three bees, and those bees came out of the honeycomb. "Do you want to be my friend," asked the butterfly and the three bees said "yes." So those four friends flew to the biggest oak tree in the forest. On that oak tree there was a nest, and on that nest there was a bluebird, and that bluebird was protecting four eggs. "Can you play with us?" asked one bee. "I would love to, but I can't," said the mama bird sadly, "I need to take care of my eggs." So the four friends flew off happily ever after. The end.
T: Thanks so much. That's an interesting story.
L: Also known as crazy.
T: Would you consider illustrating it or any other books?
L: No.
T: Is there anything else you would like to add?
L: Do I like school?
T: Right. Do you like school?
L: Maybe no-yes.
T: Care to elaborate or say more?
L: "Maybe no-yes" means I don't know. I don't know if I like school. Sometimes it is bad, sometimes it is good!
T: Anything else?
L: Goodbye!
