We had a great day at the neighborhood pool today. Maya had a blast playing with all the other kids and being adored by the adults. Things turned sour, though, when I wouldn't let her jump into the deep end with her sister. "SISSY!!!!" she kept yelling. So naturally, I took a picture.

School Work
I had fun going through the kids' school work this year. Ben and Aaron left for Europe just before school ended so I went through the school stuff by myself, setting aside (and photographing) the good stuff and dumping the rest. Here are a few papers that made me laugh out loud. The boys' schoolwork makes me feel both pleased and afraid for their future.

I feel like we should work on their levels of snark, but it also makes me laugh so hard. The thing that surprises me the most is that they wrote these things with no recognition that I would ever read them. I get that they are sarcastic with me as an audience, but I had no idea they had the guts to do this kind of thing for schoolwork. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.
