My little sister Kerrylin got married last week! So here are a bunch of shots from the wedding and festivities. This is a shot of Kami getting Kerrylin (Z) ready for the ceremony.

Matt was So Tired on the morning of the wedding. He had been working extra hard in order to be able to take off for the honeymoon. Krista and I convinced him to take a short snooze on the couch while we ironed his shirt. Actually, Krista gave him a massage while I ironed his shirt.

This is the three second window in which Aaron allowed me to have my flowers on. He had a really cute little version of his own but definitely wouldn't have any of it.

At this point, Aaron decided that he wanted to be where the bride and groom were. So while Z and Matt were getting their pictures taken on the swing next to this one, Aaron and I sat here.

The food at the reception was amazing. You could choose between local rainbow trout, filet mignon, or chicken. Here are Kerrylin and Matt chowing on their filets. Kerrylin said that she wanted to have a very small party so that she could have good food... and it worked! (I had the trout and it was DELICIOUS!)

While the reception was going on inside, Aaron got restless so I walked around with him and took a bunch of pictures. So here are some of the best shots.

After the wedding, those of us who stuck around got to hang out at the cabins where we were staying (the same site as the wedding) and relax. There were a bunch of goats outside that Aaron really liked feeding, as pictured. Actually, it's kind of funny because it turns out that some of the things he was feeding the goats with were poison ivy and/or oak. Aaron didn't have any kind of reaction though. (If he had, it certainly wouldn't be so funny.)

Ben and I are the nursery leaders at church. Last week the lesson was called, "I have a body." Ben drew this masterful visual aid for the kids to color. Here is Aaron's beautiful coloring.

A great day

Well, our little family had such a great day today. We realized yesterday that we have only two Saturdays left in the area. So we decided to do things that we can't do in NYC. So we took off today to do some touristy things-- we went to Fisherman's Wharf and ate a fresh crab and shrimp cocktail and a homemade clam chowder in a sourdough roll, got up close to the Golden Gate Bridge, and went to Ocean Beach. Then we took the scenic route home.

Alcatraz

Here we are in front of Alcatraz Island. This is pretty much the closest we got though. It's kind of strange that this is such a big tourist attraction. But here we are, participating in the picture taking in front of Alcatraz phenomenon.

The Wharf

Here we are at Fisherman's Wharf (the bay is right behind us), eating our tiny bowl of fresh crab and shrimp cocktail.

Here is our $10 bowl of crab and shrimp cocktail, which looks even bigger than it actually was because of all the lettuce at the bottom.

Bush Man

This is the (supposedly) world famous bush man, who has been scaring pedestrians for over twenty-five years. It was pretty funny actually, some people really screamed loudly when he scared them. I figure this is a pretty entertaining way to beg for money on the street. It beats a beggar we passed who had a sign that said, "Why lie? It's for beer. Help the beerless." I have to admit though that I did appreciate his honesty.

Aaron was fascinated by the dancing silver guy who did a really good job of acting like a robot.

This is an example of the many piles of crabs there are at Fisherman's Wharf. This particular pile is the pile from which our crab came.

Clam Chowder

After we left the city, we went to Ocean Beach. Aaron really liked looking out at the water. But when it reached his toes he cried because it was so coldy. He did, however, really like getting the sand on his toes. He kept digging his toes in the sand, pointing at them, and explaining to me all about it.
