September has brought the autumnal chill and with it an easing into our new life patterns here in Aachen. Ben begins formal fellowship work and language courses, Kourtney and Libbie begin language courses, Elliot is conducting a stay-at-home internship as part of his school year, Libbie attends a class trip to London for five days, Maya attends a class trip to a youth dormitory in Aachen for three days, and we continue to host friends regularly. We each continue to adjust in different paces and ways.

With September has come the gentle rain coverage—the rain doesn‘t really fall here so much as it hangs gently in the air brought in from the Atlantic much of the time. A bit of rain gear and it’s not bad.
