Argh!

Well, as you can tell by the fact that I just (in January) posted pictures (below) hat were taken back in October, I am far behind in the bloggage. Due to a series of annoying events, including Hello not working right, my being out of town, and our camera cord being misplaced, I haven't posted in a long time. And now I have over 1500 pictures from the time between November and now to choose from and post. I am starting to get back into it, so hopefully more and more pictures will come along at a quick rate.

I'm annoyed, though, that the below pictures are not in the order in which I posted them. I guess there was a delay and blogger waited to post some pictures while posting others so now the pics are all out of order. There are obviously pictures that are supposed to be sequential but aren't. I'd have to delete all of the pictures and repost them all in order to fix the mistake, which takes a long time and I'd rather spend the time putting new posts up so saggies no can do. So use your imagination.

I have had the nastiest hiccups today-- five or six spells of the deep, hurty kind. Superbly annoying. Got one now and going to bed to try to sleep them off.

This is an airplane shot of the southern part of NYC--I love this view because you can see three of the five burroughs and can see how they are shaped and connect. Plus the downtown edge of Manhattan looks cool on its own merit too. This view is amazing at night. This picture was taken by Marsha, Ben's mom, when she and John came to visit us back in October. The next bunch of pictures were taken while they were here, most of them by Marsha.

This is a picture of a portion of the exhibit-- it was basically chronological, with the oldest things (icons) at the bottom and the modern stuff at the top. It was fun to walk around and literally journey through Russian art history. It was also really exciting for me because I had seen a lot of the art in museums in Russia and it was really fun to see them gathered here, in my basic neighborhood.
